SHADOWS WORK is a collaborative album by Canadian producer Fallennwall and Filipino-Canadian rapper Rubix. They blend psychedelic synth sounds with deep bass melodies while lyrical rap rhyme incantations weave through the rhythms. Released in 2022 on Seven9 Records.

Rubix is a Filipino-Canadian rapper born in Calgary, AB (Treaty 7). His stylings range from pure Hip Hop to Deep Dub to Drum N Bass. You can catch him rocking live rap sets or freestyling over electronic music or even emceeing events, regardless of what form he is taking in the moment, microphones will be crushed by his tones. His lyrics coincide with outer & inner spiritual journeys, warrior lyrics and uplifting the consciousness. Rubix also does lots of work with youth mentorship in the Hip Hop arts. A rapper, dancer and producer, this triple threat knows how to lay it down proper. Find him rolling with entourages such as the Floorwookie Crew, Apex Unit 79 & B-Nasty Beats.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but developed in Montreal, Fallennwall is the epitome of raw talent. The aesthetic of his beats can range from soulful guitar sounds over cinematic percussion, to gritty dancing bass lines and heavy synthy melodies. But his style doesn't stop there. His purely original sound scapes that paint the story of his beats always carries it's own signature sound one way or another. Catch this sonic wizard at live jams playing guitar or maybe somewhere deep in a laboratory underneath a palace cooking up some vile symphonies.
